cheesy potatoes
this is a side dish that can go with any meal. i love this dish so much, i can eat an entire bowl and call it a meal. 🙂
- 2 lbs. frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
- 1 c onion, chopped fine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 lb (16 oz.) sour cream
- 1/2 stick margarine, melted
- 8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
- wavy potato chips (approx. 1 c, crushed)
- preheat oven to 350°.
- mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
- salt and pepper to taste.
- top with potato chips.
- put in a greased 9×13″ pan.
- bake for one hour.
